Golf Driving Tips

August 30th, 2010 by the writer

Without doubt, the best golf driving tip that you will ever get, especially if you are new to the game, is that trying to hit the ball too hard will usually result in a bad drive. To hit the ball longer and further, don’t not try to bash the ball. Instead, work on your club head speed. In other words, faster club head speed results in longer distance.

Another tip that you should always remember is that you should always try to keep the ball in play. Always choose accuracy over distance. It is not much point having a super long drive if you are stuck behind a tree, or in some long grass off the edge of the fairway.

There are many players who do not hit the ball a long way, but are always in the middle of the fairway. They never get in trouble, so never have really bad scores on any hole. This applies to a lot of senior players who are able to make a very tidy score on nearly every hole.
