The Blog Squad

Some people think having a job as a receptionist is boring. To an extent it is. I like it for a few reasons. It’s a job where I can leave everything at the office; nothing work related comes home with me. I don’t stress over answering the phones or filing. That leaves me a ton of time to actually do things I’m interested in outside of the office. I take painting and cooking classes in the evening, I love it. But most of all, I love getting dressed up. A bunch of my friends have jobs where they need to wear uniforms. I get to sit and look cute in my pencil skirt, frilly blouse, which are all accented with gorgeous mother of pearl artisan earrings. What’s to complain with a gig like that?
