Lately, it has come to your attention that there is a huge void in your life. It’s that first web-site that you keep putting off but it is time to start today. Do you know that you can build a site for no money? There are open source (meaning free) programs available on the internet and I am the one to show you where these programs are and how to use them.

Regardless of whether you go with a blog or html type site, you will need a photo/image program to produce your header. One of the best open source image editors out there is the GIMP. And to help you produce your very first header I have video tutorials to show you the way.

If you choose to use a blog then try my free blog that comes with SEO Optimized plugins. As it is a php WordPress blog, you will need to upload it to start out. You can then log in to the admin section in order to edit it.

A major plus of using an html site is that you can do all your work on it on your desktop before you ftp it. You will need an html editor however, to work on your pages. Kompozer is my recommendation for the most capable WYSIWYG html available. Kompozer is another open source and free program.
