Is small business direct marketing still a viable method?

In conjunction with online visibility, Direct Marketing can provide a personal touch which doesn’t invade a persons space, such as an email box. Without a great headline and an offer of value, many small business direct marketing barely makes it out of the envelope. Why? The recipient didn’t ask for the information, it has no relevance in their lives at the moment. It gets tossed because they feel that when they need it, they will search it out.

Small Business Direct Marketing can be done so that the reader will file the information for the future or better yet, make a contact with you. By appealing to their sense of need at the moment, you can accomplish this. How do you know what that need is? Think like your buyer.

Friendly, personal correspondence receives the best results. Talk as you would to a friends. That is what your customers should be….friends. Treat them like friends in your Small Business Direct Marketing and you will be richly rewarded.
