The Digital Advantage: Princeton Summer Camps
September 15th, 2011 by the writer
Summer is a time when school is out and the kids are at home with basically nothing to do. Some of them will be out on the streets playing, some are bound to go out with their friends, some will travel, and some may try to find jobs.
And then there are those kids who will stay at home and plant themselves in front of the computer, or spend hours playing video games. If this sounds like a familiar scenario to you, then you are one of the millions of parents who are in need of our proposition.
The ID Tech computer summer camps have come to the Princeton University campus, and are sweeping other New Jersey communities as well. The Princeton Summer Camps is for kids ages 7 to 18 who have taken up an interest in computers and computer science. Beginners in this field are given the ID Tech Basic Computer Course, while the more advanced campers may take part in the different specialty courses that have been lined up for them.
The video game design course allows our campers to create their own games using specialized graphical software.
Digital and Graphic Art courses involve the use of digital media and gives campers the freedom to express themselves through visual arts. They are asked to create their own novel designs for advertisements, business cards, or simple flyers. This course lets the campers have free reign on their creativity.
Video Editing teaches the campers how to create short films using the principles of film production, special effects and camera work. Work that they complete in these workshops will go into their own personal portfolios.
The Princeton Summer Camp setting comes complete with the authentic college campus experience. Since the campers are having camp at a real college campus, then they get to experience all the things in it. This not only gives them novel experiences to remember, it inspires some to work hard to get into the college someday.
Being a family company, ID Tech assures you that your kids will be in a safe and healthy environment where he will be allowed to grow, where his inert talents will be nourished, and all his needs taken care of.
