Targeted web site traffic is what you get if you have effective search engine optimization for your web site. Want proof? What terms did you enter at the search engine to get to this page? I’d bet it had something to do with web site traffic or search engine optimization. If not you probably don’t belong here and definitely are not targeted web site traffic. However 95% of arrived as highly targeted traffic.

Effective search engine optimization will bring you targeted web site traffic. Of course how much traffic you get depends on how high you are ranked. I would expect good optimization to get you one the first page. Great optimization should get your web site at least a #5 and truly expert would get you to 1-3. The number 1 position gets 40% of all search traffic as a general rule.

You’ve probably heard horror stories about how hard it is to optimize for search engines and get rankings high enough to generate decent amounts of traffic. Lol, I always find those stories amusing and you certainly here them a lot from the guru’s. Of course that’s a guru’s business isn’t it. Getting you to buy an optimization product is his goal. He can’t sell you anything if he tells you it’s easy.

Many write articles and use article directories as an article marketing strategy because it’s a very successful strategy. It’s one of the ways I created this site was by writing most of my own articles. I find it easy to write articles, most of the time. You can write your own articles and submit them to article directories to get more links back to your site.

Articles are one of the easiest ways to promote your niche website in order to generate traffic and increase your earnings. All you need to do is write articles relating to your website and submit them to article directory sites. Easy to do, takes little time and can increase your website traffic, sales and of course, your income.

How can article writing boost traffic and income?

The article on the free content or article directory site contains a link to your own website. Readers, after reading your articles, may choose to click on the link and pay you an unexpected visit. Having articles on the free content sites is also making these articles available to other webmasters who may wish to publish that article on their site as part of an article marketing strategy.
