How To Prevent Asthma

Asthma tends to run in families as it has a genetic component, so if someone in the family already suffers with asthma, then it is much more likely that any children within the family could also develop asthma.  Therefore certain strategies to prevent asthma need to be looked at, particularly if a new baby is expected.

In all honesty you should start to look at steps to prevent asthma  as soon as a new baby is born – research indicates that making even quite small changes during the first years of a child’s life can often help to reduce the chances of the child suffering with asthma as they grow up, and in adult hood.
