Anxiety Panic Attacks Making Life Miserable
October 31st, 2007 by the writerI have suffered from anxiety panic attacks for some time now and nothing I’ve tried has made the attacks disappear. I have just about tried everything on the market that has been labeled an anxiety treatment. My doctor prescribed sedatives for me when I was first diagnosed with anxiety panic disorder. When I first took the sedatives they helped with the attacks however the effect only lasted for a short while. Before long, I found I was relying on them. I stopped taken the sedatives and almost immediately after this the attacks of anxiety started happening again.
I have attended anxiety support groups which have been of assistance however this has only been on a small scale. Support groups I find are good as you can air your frustrations at not being able to control your social anxiety disorder, but this venting doesn’t make the problem go away. Don’t take that the wrong way as having a support network of people who know and understand what you’re experiencing is very important. All the same, it’s not adequate enough to address the symptoms of anxiety panic attacks.
