Why Education is Important In California
October 29th, 2009 by the writerCalifornia schools are some of the worst in the world. The state spends half of it’s massive budget on education. Now the reason why education is important to the politicians who throw money at it is, the teachers union. This union is huge and contrary to what you have been taught all your lives, these California teachers are far from underpaid. I am not expressing a popular view on education, but the fact remains that test scores are abysmal and curriculum is skewed in such a way that these poor kids are well rounded in a whole lot of worthless topics.
